Whether it is zombies taking over the world, aliens species inhabiting the planet, or apocalyptic famines sweeping over the earth, the subject of survival in an apocalyptic disaster has always interested me. Despite growing up in the city and having what some would consider a typical, modern life, most would not have been able to guess that I would soon be the one that friends and family would come to for advice about survivalism.
As I have grown to be older and wiser in my years, so has the desire and hunger of survivalism, as it has grown to be a mandatory factor in my life. Through my experiences and self-education, I now have the necessary resources at my disposal when a “SHTF” situation comes up, and I will be able to sleep at with confidence in the safety of my family.
I was absolutely shocked to see how Covid-19 quickly interrupted daily life. Where there was once abundance, there was now a shortage of resources at that time. Food supply became scarce, along with other dependable resources becoming limited…how does this all happen suddenly? It was at this moment that I understood how easily the comfortability of our lives could be disrupted.
Fortunately, while many people were trying to get back to the state of things being normal, I didn’t feel the impact as much. Why? Because I was prepared. My family did not have to suffer like others who did not have survival awareness. Like a deer in headlights, they were caught off-guard. The biggest reward for me during this time was when my friends and family began to come to me for help and advice. I was even able to offer some of my resources to them. It was at that point, that I went from being a crazy person who was preparing for something that would never happen…to the person that ended up being a savior for others and providing aid to those who needed help. Many of my convictions and actions did not look so silly after all, and I received some well-deserved credit.
On the other hand, I hated watching the people that I personally knew, my friends and family, struggle during those times. The most unfortunate part in my opinion, is that the struggle that they all experienced could have been avoided. Everyone would laugh at me when I bring up things such as stocking up on freezer-dried foods and other preservation methods, having a doomsday plan, or even living off the grid, but after everyone experienced the pandemic, they now realize how fast things can change and a lot of people are now asking questions. So instead of saying “I told you so” (which I so desperately want to do), I have decided to create this website to help.
I am delivering my collection of knowledge, experience, and know-how, to you on a silver platter so that in hopes, you may be able to share the same things with someone else in need. We can all be of great value to each other and live a prepared lifestyle that is resilient to disruptions. But you must start now.
